The hero of this book is named Bullet Whiskey. I feel like that’s all I should really have to say and you should just want to read this book. Combine the name with the sexy AF man on the cover and it’s pretty much a must read. AND, the quality of the story backs it up!

Finlay and Bullet are the perfect opposites attract story. Finlay is sweetness and sunshine. Bullet is toughness and tattoos. They shouldn’t go together, but their mutual attraction is undeniable and they seem to complete each other in a way that ultimately makes so much sense.

Driving Whiskey Wild is steamy and full of romance. Bullet and Finlay are well-crafted characters that spin a tale of love, loss and overcoming your past to find love with the one who makes your heart whole. Tempting Tristan is sweet, sexy and pure romance.

Tristan has sworn off men until he’s approached by the hottest guy he’s ever seen. Is the attraction purely physical or is there something more that’s drawing them together? Alex has just come back to Harborside, but this time he’s there for more than a visit! He has both physical and emotional scars from his military service. The two begin an intense romance that is filled with both personal discovery and relationship revelations. Tristan and Alex soon find themselves in a relationship that brings out the best in both of them. But, will they have the courage to make it last?

Tempting Tristan is part of the Harborside Nights Series. So it is full of unique characters, quaint settings and plenty of love and friendship. I enjoy this series so much and I encourage you to check it out. But, I really believe that Tempting Tristan can be read and thoroughly enjoyed as a standalone without reading the prior books in the series. That being said, I can’t wait for my next trip back to Harborside!

I haven’t taken the opportunity to read a lot of M/M romances, but after finishing Tempting Tristan, I’m making plans to fix that ASAP! The relationship is pure and honest and the steamy scenes are out of this world! If you’re looking for a heart-warming story with solid dialogue, good character development, and truly tasty heroes, this is definitely one for your TBR!

BFF K’s Review of Chased by Love

This book was such a wonderful surprise! I’ve read all of the books in the Ryder’s Series that have been released to date, so I was confident that I would read a good book. They have all been interesting and enjoyable reads, but Chased by Love is definitely my favorite so far! This book is a great combo of characters we know, and blended storylines from Foster’s other series’, combined with a really strong Rockstar/Hollywood Actress trope. The result is a thoroughly fulfilling page turner! (Though this is the 3rd in the series, it can be read as a stand-alone.)

Trish Ryder has the movie role of a lifetime and the chance to work with world famous, and super HOT, rockstar Boone Stryker. (Boone is absolutely swoon worthy! I picture him with the heart/mind of a poet and a body for built for wickedness.) Everything seems to be lining up perfectly to take Trish’s career to the next level, but something is off in Boone’s performance. Their sizzling chemistry seems to go MIA when the cameras roll. The stars are sentenced to 10-days sequestered together to figure it out.

Together Boone and Trish discover that there is so much more to both than just their public personas. The attraction sparked between them catches fire, and the reader gets singed by the flames. Trish and Boone are both great independent characters, but also a really exceptional couple as well. They navigate their feelings for each other, their personal dramas, the stress of the film and their burgeoning romance. The conclusion is an immensely satisfying, character-driven-story that delivers all the feelings and emotions you want in a great Romance. If you love the Rockstar/Hollywood Actor tropes, this one is sure to please!

You have to be ok with Insta-Love….Just a warning about this story line. When Duke and Gabriella meet one another there is an instant chemistry and attraction that overwhelms them both. Their trip from strangers to soul mates is so quick it will leave you spinning. If you’re ok with Insta-Love, this is a really wonderful, romantic, heart-felt story.

Gabriella grew up on the fictional island of Elpitha. Though she spends her days as a successful family attorney in NYC, her heart longs to be on the island surrounded by family and friends. Duke comes to the island to consider the possibility of investing in the property and turning it into a bright and shiny playground for people with time and money to spend. But, when he meets Gabriella, his thoughts are only about saving the island and preserving her visions of both what it is and what it can be.

There is tension in the story, a push and pull of Gabriella and Duke learning one another and learning how to trust one another. (Though that’s not really surprising considering the short time they’ve known each other.) There is no denying the spark that ignites between the two and their roller coaster relationship is steamy and sweet, just be sure to hold on for the quick and wild ride!

If you can accept and embrace an Insta-Love story with a sweet and determined heroine and a protective, caring, committed alpha hero, then this is definitely a one-click. Claimed by Love is a solid romance that takes the reader on a fun little ride.

One of the things that I have loved most about the past year as a blogger is discovering new authors, new series and new genres that I would NEVER have picked up before. The second book in the Harborside Nights Series by Melissa Foster is the perfect example of this occurrence. I’m not sure I would have been lucky enough to bump into this series AND I’m not sure I would have picked up this book on my own. This is the first F/F love story that I have read.

I loved Delilah and Ashley. Their story is full of tension and self-discovery. It is romantic and butterfly-inducing and you’ll want very much for them to find a happily ever after with one another.

Discovering Delilah is a love story. But, as much as it is a love story, it is a story about loving yourself, accepting who you are and living your truth. It is sweet and there’s a little bit of steam, but it is really the story-arc for the series and the characters that I love most! When I read Catching Cassidy, the first story in this series, I was hooked on this cast of characters. I am invested in just 2 books and I’m anxious to know all of their stories.

This book, the entire series really, is unique and fresh and worth a read! I’m looking forward to more diverse and heart-felt stories coming in the series.

Catching Cassidy is a wonderful NA, coming-of-age novel that has all the feels! Wyatt is a fantastic young hero. He’s kind, considerate, compassionate and loyal. Wyatt and his twin sister Delilah loose their parents in a sudden tragedy the night of their college graduation. He and Delilah bring their best friend Cassidy with them to Harborside for the summer. Wyatt struggles to ensure that Delialah and Cassidy are ok while at the same time trying to figure out his own role and place in this new reality.

There is an angst-filled, push and pull as Cassidy and Wyatt try to deny their growing attraction for the sake of their friendship. Factor into that: job uncertainties, family dynamics, a colorful cast of friends and an idyllic summer setting and you have the makings of a really wonderful NA story.

I am loving all of the characters in Harborside. I really enjoyed the way that Melissa Foster described the group of “summer friends” and we got a glimpse into the personalities and lives of all of them. I feel invested now in the whole group and I’m looking forward to reading the series so I can catch up with all of them! This is a quality series that I think you’ll really really like!
